THE BROWN’S

Markella was hands down one of the best decisions for our micro-wedding. Her personality is unmatched. Her commitment to getting the perfect pictures is incredible. She took a commanding lead and knew how to direct us to get stunning shots. She has great communication skills and an even better energy. Although we only had 14 guests at our microwedding, her presence was natural as if she was an old friend. Since we had a destination wedding in a different state, we had never met her before, but it didn’t seem that way. She radiates positivity, and makes the perfect hype woman. We felt so lucky to have her there. Her experience shows in her professionalism, and in her work. Every picture is beautiful, and gets compliments from everyone. She got our pictures to us in record timing. I could not recommend her enough, 6/5 stars.

Markella was amazing. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for great photos and a fun and easy atmosphere while taking wedding photos. We all know the day can be stressful. Markella made picture taking easy and fun and her work on the back end was great. We love our wedding photos so much! Markella really was able to capture everything so well.

THE VOS

Markella was absolutely wonderful to work with. From the outset to our big day, working with Markella was an ease. Her friendliness and patience were on full display the day of our wedding. For our wedding, my wife and I wanted to take individual photos with each and everyone of our guests. It wasn't easy but Markella was there to guide us through the whole process. We must have taken about one hundred different photos. This was on top of the many many other photos she took that day. They all came came out amazing, we love all of them. There is one we love so much that we are in the process of getting framed to hang in our living room. Thank you Markella, we couldn't have done it without to. To anyone reading this, we would highly recommend Markella to photograph your wedding and capture it beautifully.

THE CIRINGANO’S

We were absolutely blown away by Markella's photos of our magical day. She captured the genuine spirit of all members of the wedding party, us as excited newlyweds, and our guests. She directed me and my husband in our poses so that we didn't have to ever wonder what to do with our hands, where we should be looking, and they came out stunning. She was extremely prompt and efficient, always responding to emails and texts quickly, eager to help and excited about our day, which in turn made us even more excited. She got us our photos back in record time, and we can't stop looking at them! Her energy is warm, welcoming, positive and fun-- which is contagious and further reflected in our photos. I would recommend Markella for any wedding of a family member or close friend, because I know how wonderful of a job she would do.

Markella has captured paramount moments for our family. To say we are blessed by her talents and generosity is an understatement. She is flexible, conducts research about her locations/sun exposure/etc, and ensures the moments you hoped for are fully expressed through her photos! Each time we have worked with her, she has worked tirelessly behind the camera and the computer getting our photos to us extremely quickly. Our young daughters absolutely look forward to their time with Markella, who happily obliges frowning photos and requests from the little ones. Her passion for displaying emotions visually is on point!

THORP’S

For my daughter’s senior photos, we had the luck of using Markella, who’s professionalism wrapped in fun, youth, and coolness blew our expectations. Markella took an incredibly stressful situation, as sometimes photoshoots can be, and truly saved the day. At the time of our shoot, we were all in Newport Beach. Traffic, crowds, beaches were overwhelming. The timing was completely off for the Thorp family but was 100% on for Markella. The Thorps were unfocused, but Markella drew us in. Her vision was spot on. The outcome, the collection of photographs, are stunning. I am smitten, will use her again, and again!

LINCOLN HILDEBRAND

Markella is an amazing photographer. She was able to capture such amazing moments of my friends and I. She knew exactly how to create the perfect picture and was able to deal with a group of eight very talkative best friends. Her photos expressed our friendship so perfectly. She has a true eye for photography and knows just how to capture a moment. She has so much fun with these shoots and is so creative. We all loved our time with Markella and we will definitely be planning on taking photos with her each summer while we are all back together again from college. If you are looking for amazing photographer to take photos of either yourself or your loved ones, she is your girl.

FRITCH’S

Every year before the holidays our family pays a photographer to take our family photos.  We use these photos not only for our holiday cards, but also to capture how our family is growing over the years.  We really enjoy these outings and look forward to the pictures each year.

Markella took our family photos this year and we could not have been happier.  She has such a positive, energetic attitude and worked with us to get the best photos for our family.  I can be picky (and sometimes even micro-manage) with photographers during our family photo sessions, and she worked with me, was patient, and helped our family not only get great pictures but enjoy the process as well.  We have 3 kids, ranging in ages from 15 to 8, and they can be hard to corral and keep motivated for a photo session.  She did a great job with our kids (and dog!).  We had a lot of fun with her and enjoyed the session.

Afterwards, when we reviewed the photos, we were very pleased with them, as they really captured the essence of what we are typically after for end of year photos.  The photos were great, we used them for our Christmas cards and printed out other various copies as well for our home.  We will definitely partner with Markella again for our next end of year photo session!

LINDSLEY’S

Markella is such a gem. When we asked her to take our engagement photos, she was more than eager to help us. We stole her away for a day at the beach where she allowed us to explore shots that felt comfortable, while also giving us great ideas for each moment. Based on the job well done, we then asked if she would also be one of our photographers for our wedding day. How could we not? She does great work, and we were privileged to have her shoot us on two very special occasions. We are so thankful for her and her gifts in photography. We hope that her business soars to the stars! UPDATE: Post Wedding: Let me just start by saying, Look no further, you have found your photographer! Markella is so warm and personable that even if you have never had a professional photo you will feel so comfortable so fast. Also, you will feel so confident because she is so affirming! Now only is she quick to communicate and easy to work with her work literally speaks for itself. So warm and dreamy all her photos are absolute magic! We did an engagement shoot and 8hrs at the wedding with a second shooter and every moment of the experience was top notch! She may be a little newer to the Nashville area but she will quickly become one of the most sought after photographers! Trust me!

DOLCE’S

We had such a great experience with Markella doing our family photos! We have quite the rambunctious 2.5 year old and I was nervous to book anything for photos because often his toddler ways get the best of us and plans don't work out. Markella was so great with Ezra, she had him laughing and performing for the camera. It takes a special person to have patience with toddlers, as well as make them feel comfortable and we got that with Markella. I waited till my son was nearing 3 to finally get family photos and I really regret that, but I'm so excited to have Markella take our family photos regularly because they are so incredibly special to us.
